SportsMark’s Vancouver office is pleased to announce our newest team members, Jason Oberholtzer and Vanessa Carrington.

Jason has joined SportsMark as an Account Director to lead an Olympics-related consulting project for the City of Richmond. Jason comes to SportsMark from his recent position with the Vancouver Olympic Organizing Committee as Regional Director of Logistics. Jason's success in event management, sponsor services and marketing strategy ranges across some of the world’s premier sporting events, including several Summer and Winter Olympic Games and FIFA World Cup™.

Vanessa joins SportsMark as Account Director and will be project managing Visa’s Vancouver 2010 Olympics activation. She brings more than ten years experience in market research, strategic business planning, tourism marketing, event development and production, and sponsorship negotiation and activation. Prior to joining SportsMark, Vanessa was with Tourism Whistler for six years, where she managed the Marketing Services department and developed several event-related strategies. During this time, she also managed client services for the Whistler Film Festival and provided marketing and communication services for several Whistler-based businesses and events.
