SportsMark is pleased to announce that Pete Moore has joined our Vancouver office as Director, Olympic Operations.  An experienced event marketing professional, Pete has managed Olympic hospitality programs and operations since the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona.  As SportsMark’s Director, Olympic Operations, Pete will manage our Vancouver-based account managers, in addition to playing a key role in overseeing our overall Olympic operations planning for our sponsor clients.

With over 18 years of corporate hospitality experience with Carlson Marketing, Pete has been successful in developing strong relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers, and members of the International Olympic Committee and host city Olympic Organizing Committees. He has a strong background in the sale and operation of Olympic hospitality, sporting events, and domestic and international travel-related programs.   

Vancouver 2010 will be Pete’s ninth Olympic Games. He has also operated programs around many different event properties, including Wimbledon, PGA Championship, Super Bowl, Daytona 500, World Series, and the Goodwill Games.
