To support SportsMark and our client programs for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, the SportsMark Beijing office has expanded and hired additional employees. We are pleased to announce that we have the following global event and IT professionals working in our Beijing office.
Angela Archer – Project Manager
Angela has managed major sporting events for IMG in Miami, San Francisco, Shanghai, Beijing and other cities, where she hired, trained, and managed teams of local staff and volunteers. Angela’s role will be to provide training in the upcoming months for the 300+ local staff we have hired and also to support the adidas staff hospitality program. Angela is British Chinese by way of Hong Kong and is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
Carolyn Ong – Project Manager
Carolyn has extensive hospitality event experience in China managing high level programs, including product launches. Carolyn will be supporting a number of SportsMark client programs in areas such as venue and restaurant selections, supplier sourcing, negotiations, and pre- and post-program tour design. Originally from Singapore, Carolyn is fluent in Mandarin and English.
Katja Sassi – Beijing Project Coordinator – Creative Services
Katja will be dedicated to supporting the SportsMark Creative Services team on the ground in Beijing. Katja has knowledge, experience, and contacts in Beijing entertainment, production and venues. Fluent in Mandarin, English, German, and Italian, Katja has lived in North America, Europe, and China.
Olivier Tan – IT Project Manager
Olivier is supporting SportsMark with IT planning for our client programs in Beijing. Olivier has a strong background in both IT and events. Fluent in Mandarin and English, Olivier will be assisting our IT team in all phases of IT planning and execution for our on-site programs.
