SportsMark Rocks Super Bowl XLIV with Visa and CBS

June 3, 2010

Days before the start of the Vancouver Olympic Games, SportsMark managed corporate hospitality programs and produced outstanding events and concerts for two important partners of Super Bowl XLIV, as we continued our long standing Super Bowl relationships with Visa and CBS. The two programs, which were quite different in scope, proved to be the most impressive Super Bowl activation to date, according to both clients.

SportsMark and Visa designed an inspiring Super Bowl program based on Visa’s “Go” advertising campaign with a focus on enhancing the guest experience, developing stronger client relationships, and driving new business opportunities.

Turnkey hospitality and event management, online event registration and a custom designed, 3,500 square foot Visa-branded hospitality suite were a few of the services provided by SportsMark for this business-driven event.

The excitement of the Super Bowl and powerful brand engagement led to very positive post-event research, as 96% of guests rated their experience as “Excellent”.

Working with CBS, SportsMark was challenged to develop and execute an immense Super Bowl hospitality program, integrating executives and key advertisers from CBS Television Network and CBS Television Stations.

The destination and guest experience-driven event capitalized on the excitement, energy, and non-stop action of South Florida, while providing a platform for high-level business meetings and presentations.

SportsMark’s creative team developed an exclusive Super Bowl graphic look and feel for the program and designed a customized CBS-branded hospitality suite at the Loews Hotel.

Evening entertainment events included the production of an exclusive beach party on South Beach, featuring surprise performance by The Who and a spectacular special event at South Beach’s hottest nightclub, Mansion, with a performance by rapper LL Cool J.

The weekend also included a variety of tours, activities, a CBS golf tournament at Miami Beach Golf Club, and an exclusive cooking class with celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse.

SportsMark provided complete event management, creative, and event technology services and according to a CBS executive, “SportsMark knocked it out of the park – an unbelievable program!”
