Steve Skubic - Chief Executive Officer
A veteran of the travel, event, and sports marketing industries for over 25 years, Steve Skubic has helped advance the growth of SportsMark since it was founded in 1988. His leadership and financial management expertise have been hallmarks of his tenure at the company, which was recognized by SportsBusiness Journal as the Sports Event Marketing Firm of the Year in 2008. From 1990 to 2000, Steve served SportsMark as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He was promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer in early 2001 and to Chief Executive Officer in mid-2008.
The 1984 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles were the launch pad for Steve’s extensive event management career, which has spanned high-profile events around the globe. Since then, he has directed hundreds of corporate hospitality programs for international and TOP Olympic clients, in addition to expanding the company’s reach by opening several international offices. Steve has also represented SportsMark and our sponsor clients as a charter member of the International Olympic Committee’s Olympic Hospitality Advisory Group.
Steve has a B.A. in Economics-Business from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). He resides in Petaluma, California with his wife and three sons.
Lana Sanders - Executive Vice President
An industry veteran for over 20 years, Lana Sanders is responsible for training and managing SportsMark’s account management and event operations teams, as well as directing the creative services group. Lana has played an integral role in managing the growth of SportsMark from six people when she joined in 1990 to currently over 60 employees worldwide.
Lana has extensive experience in the planning and management of corporate hospitality programs at the Olympic Games and FIFA World Cup, as well as at major domestic sporting events. Her organizational strengths and financial acumen have resulted in the execution of hundreds of successful programs for our Fortune 500 clients.
Lana and her husband, Jim, reside in South Florida.
Keith Bruce - President
Keith Bruce brings to clients over 20 years of sports marketing, event marketing and advertising experience, combining extensive brand building expertise with a deep knowledge of the sports and sponsorship industry, on both domestic and global levels.
Keith’s charter as President is to grow and expand SportsMark’s multi-national and domestic client list, as well as to advance the company’s strategic sponsorship consulting practice and business planning services in sports and event marketing, both domestically and globally. In addition, Keith is spearheading SportsMark’s measurement/ROI model development for our clients’ event sponsorship and corporate hospitality programs.
Keith and his wife, Kimberly, live in Novato, California with their two young daughters.
